Upsticks Glamping – your personal rural retreat, two unique safari lodges nestled in our fledgling orchard with a 500 year old pub next door. Soak in the views, enjoy the peace of open meadows, ponds and orchards. Wander the lanes, climb the hills or grab a bike from the store. Pack a picnic with our pantry supplies and go explore, create memories, and discover new passions with your tribe.
Our unique family sized safari lodges are set in acres of meadows and a young Perry orchard with all the charm and convenience of a ye olde pub next door.
Our lodges are fitted with all the creature comforts of a home under canvas. Complete with deep duvets, fresh white linen, comfy sofa’s, wood burner, electric and WiFi!
Each lodge sleeps 6 and a couple of dogs in two bedrooms ( Double / Twin or Double and a cosy mezzanine (twin). A boardwalk connects you to your private bathroom with piping hot showers, electric points, warm fluffy towels and toiletries for proper pampering.
A welcome hamper and pantry stocked with treats and essentials will mean you can cook up a storm in your perfect country kitchen complete with fridge, Belfast sink, gas hob and a full compliment of utensils.
We’ll provide the coffee, herbs condiments and more in your welcome hamper to ensure you want for nothing. Outside the Kadai fire pit will bring you all together to cook,sing and share stories under the stars,
whilst toasting your marshmallows.
On site, a pantry sells breakfast and BBQ packs, and much more. Order warm croissant or a home cooked ready meal. Alternatively stroll next door to the pub.
17 acres of fields, ponds and orchard await. With Pygmy goats, hens and sheep to entertain. Be your very own smallholder; collect the morning eggs, feed the goats or tend the mini veg plot!
Brays farm has quiet lanes, open common land and the Malvern Hills on our doorstep. With bikes to rent, guides and maps and all the necessaries to pack a picnic so you can take the day to explore.
Close by rivers Severn and Wye and the Forest of Dean provide endless entertainment for mountain bikers, climbers or those who just enjoy meandering downstream.
Nearby pretty towns, Ledbury, Upton and Malvern have an abundance of festivals with cosy country inns and award winning gastro-pubs on our doorstep.

No need for that last minute supermarket run for all the little necessaries so often forgotten – we’ve done it for you.
Your kitchen will have foil, bags, kitchen roll as well as real coffee, tea, milk, sugar and hot chocolate. A larder fridge with ice box, 4 burner gas hob, Belfast sink, pans, knives, crockery, cutlery, glasses, corkscrew, cafetiere, and tea pot included.
A wood burner can be lit to take the chill off at night; with logs, kindling, firelighters and matches all supplied. Twinkling LED’s light tent and deck with paraffin lamps and torches available for wandering further afield.
Sofa’s, blankets and cushions keep it cosy. With a box of games, puzzles books and guides for entertainment and planning your holiday.
Each lodge has two downstairs bedrooms set up as either a double and twin or two doubles. Spruce clad tree trunks and hessian walls with a canopy of muslin, they invite you to rest up and laze in. Upstairs is a cosy mezzanine with twin beds.
Boardwalks link your safari lodge to your private bathroom. A full sized power shower, sink, flushing loo, towel warmer, plugs for electric equipment as well as fluffy towels and toiletries.
On site the pantry provides treats and essentials with local meat packs for BBQ and breakfast. Warm croissant can be ordered or a home cooked for you to warm in your tent.
Bikes are available to hire, and nature kits for young and old to enjoy.
The Kadai fire pit has griddles pans to cook on, a hanging bowl and utensils. Logs, deckchairs and a deck to lounge on whilst watching the fire crackle. Wood is available, as well as an axe if you’re feeling energetic and BBQ briquettes available from the pantry store. There are some outdoor games, and a tree swing, with nets, bug collectors, den building kit and much more.
Bring your dog for a small charge and we’ll provide a crate, bowl and bed.
For little ones, there are un-breakables, high chairs and travel cots and bike seats if needed.
